But I made them just to test myself if I could and I succeeded. That’s it, a princess donut recipe that surely stays on my recipe list right now.

Ingredients
  

  • 250 ml water
  • 125 g margarine
  • 150 g flour
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 4 eggs

Cream: 500 ml of milk

  • 250 g sugar
  • 2 vanilla puddings
  • 2 vanilla sugar
  • 125 g margarine
  • 300 ml sweet cream

I was never attracted to eating them because of too much cream inside and I was right. But I made them just to test myself if I could and I succeeded. That’s it, a princess donut recipe that surely stays on my recipe list right now.
Cooked dough:  Put water, margarine, sugar and salt in the pan and cook. When it boils and the margarine is completely melted, add all the flour at once and mix with a wooden spoon until everything is nicely combined and a ball is formed. Approximately, mixing takes 2 minutes and a thin layer of dough is caught at the bottom of the pan. Then you know the dough is cooked enough. Let it cool. Add one egg to the cooled one and beat with a mixer until it sticks to the dough. So we work with each of the following until all 4 are spent. Place the finished dough in a dressing bag with a star-shaped attachment and squeeze small piles onto a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Make small gaps between the piles. When the dough is squeezed, it must be in two levels, so make a full circle and continue one more (like a snail's nest). If we only did one we would not get the height of a princess nor would we have a cover. Touch the protruding tips with a damp finger.

Preheat the oven to 200 degrees and when the donuts are placed, reduce to 180. Bake them for 40-45 minutes until golden brown. The oven MUST NOT OPEN during baking, otherwise the dough would blow out in contact with the air and fail. For the cream, mix one part of the milk with the pudding and put the rest with the sugar to boil. Add the mixture to the boil and stir on the fire until it thickens. Remove from heat, cover with cling film and cool. Add the mixed margarine to the cooled cream. Whip the sweet cream.

Cut the tops, the caps, with the cooled princess donuts. Put the cream and sweet cream in a dressing bag and fill the donuts. Cover with a cap and sprinkle with powdered sugar. Cool well.
